Children and young people enjoyed a wide range of free activities at the Curiosity Club throughout the February half-term thanks to the Yo! Wolves holiday programme.

They included four creative fun filled days of activities including arts, crafts, games, dance, music and drama at St Patrick’s Church Hall, Heath Town, Wolverhampton.

Jenny Smith, Creative Director at Curiosity Productions, said: “Our February half term activities have gone really well. It’s been so great to see the children get creative, grow in confidence and make new friends throughout the week. They enjoyed showing Councillor Burden their artwork and giving him some tips on how to draw.”

The activities and food were provided through funding from the City of Wolverhampton Council as part of the regular Yo! Wolves holiday activity programme.

Councillor Chris Burden, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: "School holidays are tougher than ever at the moment in these hard times, and it was good to see how Curiosity Productions is supporting local families through our Yo! Wolves programme.

“The children and young people were having a great time at Curiosity Club and it was good to meet another local provider who is working with us to continue to build a huge range of opportunities for our city’s children and young people through Yo! Wolves.”

The Easter Yo! Wolves programme will be launched at the beginning of March, offering hundreds of events and activities for children, young people and their families during the Easter break. Please keep an eye on the website, www.yowolves.co.uk, for more details.

Curiosity Club aims to be accessible and welcomes neurodivergent and disabled children to all of its sessions. They will be running holiday activities in the Easter and summer holidays which will be free to any child with a HAF code. They are also looking for volunteers to help them welcome more children to the sessions. If you would like to gain experience in working with children creatively, and if you could help nurture their imagination and discover their potential please contact Curiosity Productions on hello@curiosityproductions.co.uk or call 07967 187822.
