The Mayor of Walsall is pleased to announce that a recent charity event supported by local businesses has raised the sum of £3,500 for this year’s Mayor’s charity appeal.

The £3,500 raised is a huge boost to this year’s charity appeal, which supports local charities chosen by the Mayor during his term of office.

“I extend my gratitude to businesses who are part of The Best of Walsall community and participated in the fundraising. A special thanks go to Grosvenor Casinos on Bentley Mill Way for hosting the evening, Carol Bailey Photography for capturing the night's memories and attendance from local councillors.

A special thank you also goes out to everyone who came along and made the event a resounding success.”
