New Virtual Squad activities for youngsters this half term

WV Virtual Squad is back for February half term and is offering Wolverhampton children, young people and families online activities and events they can enjoy from home.

There’s arts and crafts, cooking, learning, wellbeing, sport, entertainment and music activities to take part in from Monday 15 – Friday 19 February.

Many are being offered by local organisations including HeadStart, Real Arts Workshop, Base25, Revolution Dance Academy and New Park Village Activities Network.

Activities are available for children and young people of all ages, and highlights include street dance classes, arts and crafts activities, virtual games and challenges, plus much more.

Councillor John Reynolds, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “WV Virtual Squad is returning this half term to ensure children, young people and families of Wolverhampton have the option to take part in holiday activities.

“It’s vital that the programme remains in place during these difficult times, and we encourage families across the city to take part in the activities on offer.”

Full details of the activities and events, many of which are free, are available on the WV Virtual Squad website.
