The Mayor of Wolverhampton, Cllr Dr. Mike Hardacre is pleased to announce a charity auction to raise funds for his chosen charities: The Haven, Wings and Paws Animal Rescue and Give Us a Break.
Everyone is invited to participate and there are many goodies on offer, with highlights including a signed shirt from Rob ‘Voltage’ Cross donated by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) after the Grand Slam of Darts at WV Active, Aldersley in November. There are also two tournament programmes signed by both finalists, winner ‘Cool Hand’ Luke Humphries and runner-up Rob ‘Voltage’ Cross. Other items up for auction include a sparkly Michael Kors watch and three very smart, used but not abused, leather lap-top style bags.
The Mayor said: “I do encourage people to take the time to look at this auction and bid generously on the available lots. The funds raised will go to my chosen charities which will directly benefit local people and animals in need. I’d like to publicly thank the PDC for donating the shirt and tournament programmes which I am sure will generate a lot of interest”.
