Have your say on future of Farndale open space

People are being invited to have their say about the revitalisation of a piece of open space in Whitmore Reans.

The space, at Farndale Avenue, has not had any real improvements for many years and, although the basketball court is popular, the rest of the space is underused and attracts anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping.

The City of Wolverhampton Council is urging residents to complete a short survey to tell it how they currently use Farndale Open Space and how they would like to use it in the future.

Feedback received will help the council apply for funding to improve the area in the way that the community wants.

John Denley, Wolverhampton’s Director of Pubblic Council's Cabinet Member for Public Health and Wellbeing, said: "Farndale Open Space has real potential to become an important facility for the whole community.

"We have no set ideas or plans for the open space, so your views are really important – please complete the short survey and have your say.”

The survey is available at https://consultation.wolverhampton.gov.uk/cwc/farndale-open-space-improvements until midnight on Sunday 6 June.
