North East-based DJ and music producer JNR is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of his debut single, "Player One," scheduled for this Friday, 26th January. With DJ residencies in Newcastle and a regular presence in clubs across the UK (including supporting Becky Hill), JNR is making waves in the music scene.

Having previously remixed tracks for artists like Hazell Dean, Coulthard ("Miracle"), and Joe McElderry, JNR's solo venture, "Player One," is a dynamic, house-infused, 90s rave-inspired anthem featuring the captivating pop vocals of Natalie Gray. Known for her work with Billy Da Kid and being remixed by Joel Corry, Natalie adds a sassy touch to the track. Originally a soul/disco hit from the 70s by First Choice, "Player One" is a reimagined version that JNR hopes will capture the UK audience's attention.

In a lighthearted anecdote, he shares that before securing Natalie Gray for the vocals, he once messaged Denise Welch on Instagram after a few too many vodkas while watching Waterloo Road, inquiring if she would be interested in lending her voice to the track.
