Adventure Holiday Event at Peakes Travel Elite

On Saturday, March 12 Peakes Travel Elite is holding a live event at their Shrewsbury store to offer inspiration on adventure and touring holidays.

Peakes have enlisted adventure travel company, Explore, to join them at the event to offer their expert advice. Explore provide over 500 tours across more than 120 countries, for bespoke small group tours and private trips.

Claire Moore, managing director at Peakes Travel Elite, said, “Holidaying abroad has been sorely missed by our customers. Now travel restrictions are easing and we are able to get away more easily, customers want to plan unforgettable, adventure holidays to make memories.”

Research from ABTA on holiday habits predicts that during 2022 the ‘catch-up consumer’ will emerge – making up for trips and experiences they have missed during the last two years of the pandemic. 37% of survey respondents said they would be likely to visit a country they have never visited before, reflecting a growing sense of adventure.

The event will run from 10am until 3pm on March 12, and there will be an audio-visual presentation at 12pm. 1-2-1 appointments are available to discuss holiday plans in detail. Places at the event are limited and must be booked in advance.
