Park Hall Countryside Experience in Oswestry is set to hold a series of themed weeks to keep Shropshire’s youngsters entertained over the upcoming summer holidays.
From 24th July Maisy’s Maize Maze returns for the holidays, with clues along the way to help lost visitors escape.
The first themed week of the holidays will be Dinosaur Week from 31st July until 6th August, where visitors can meet Dora the Dino, watch the dinosaur racing, and dig for fossils.
Next up is Pirates and Princesses Week from 7th to 13th August. Join the crew for daily shows featuring Hapless Jim the Pirate and Princess Pearl, and take part in a Treasure Hunt. Visitors can meet the princesses and enter a fancy dress competition.
That is followed by Science Week from 14th to 20th August, featuring Grandolph the Wizard’s science show and experiments.
From 21st to 27th August, Park Hall will host Animal Magic week with the animal man - Simon Airey. Simon will be bringing animals from Corner Exotics, including snakes and scorpions for visitors to meet.
Finally, from 28th August until 3rd September, they are introducing a new themed week ‘Bop and Pop Week’ with party games and music to celebrate a fantastic summer of fun.
The themed events are £1 per person extra on top of the normal admission price, and under 2s go free.
Joint owner–director Richard Powell said, “We have a jam-packed schedule of summer activities to combat holiday boredom and unspent energy! Come along to meet our goats, sheep, pigs, ponies, alpacas, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, tortoises and our cow.
“Indoors we have our role-play village, pedal-powered tractors, play barn, brickworks, under 4's sensory play area, sand and water play, science zone and music room.
“Outdoors, families can meet the animals, see the rabbits in Burrowland and the goats in their playground, take barrel train rides, fly through the air on our 40-metre zip wire, enjoy the Crazy Farm Adventure Course and our Woodland Adventure Play Area, take a tractor ride, plus there's a climbing globe and space hoppers.
“And don't miss out on our new electric tractors on the driving school circuit! We even have on-site historical exhibits, such as our WWI & WWII trenches and our Iron Age Roundhouse. It's all about learning through fun here at Park Hall.”
